Campaigns

Campaigns can have multiple unique tracking numbers for customer engagement. Users can create and edit campaigns, set start/end dates, and apply filters for easy navigation.

A Campaign is any online or offline marketing advertisement.

Tracking numbers are unique phone numbers linked to individual customer engagement. These are assigned to individual campaigns. A campaign may consist of multiple tracking numbers as well.

Users can add as many campaigns as they want from the Campaign Builder page. No restriction on how many numbers can be added to a campaign exists.

To navigate to this page, Click on Campaigns on the left menu.

On this page, you can add the campaigns for the selected group in the breadcrumb. You get the option to filter and download the grid as well.

You can save the filters for this page by selecting the filters of your choice and clicking on save filters. Whenever you visit this page after saving the filters, the grid will, by default, show the data according to the dedicated filters.

If you click on Reset to default, these filters will be removed.

To create the new campaign, please click the Create button to open the following window. Fill in the information and click on Next to save the details.

The following window will appear when the campaign is created successfully. You can create another campaign, provision a tracking number from here, or close this window to return to the campaign grid.

Following are the Campaign Detail fields:

  1. Campaign Name: Campaign name is a mandatory field while creating a campaign.

  2. Active: By default, it will be set to “YES.” This will automatically change to “NO” if the Campaign Start Date and Time are set to a future date and time and also when the end date has passed.

  3. External ID (optional): It can be used for reference, integrations, etc. The Campaign ID is available in all reports, webhooks, and the API.

  4. Start Date and Time: The Date and Time the Campaign has been created will be the default start date and time. Campaign and associated Tracking Numbers will be active at the Start Date and Time.

  5. End Date and Time (optional): The End date and time will be set to never by default. Setting an End Date and Time will deactivate the Campaign and associated Tracking Numbers on that date.
  6. End of Campaign: There are two cases when a campaign ends;
  • Referral (when included in your subscription plan): The referral prompt will play a message to the caller of a campaign that has ended, letting the caller know that the tracking number has ended and to call the business number directly.  The business number is mentioned in the prompt recording for the caller.  This message will play for 30 days after the campaign ends.
  • Normal (part of a subscription): The campaign becomes inactive once the campaign ends. All the tracking numbers created under that campaign will also become inactive.

Campaign Owner: The default Campaign Owner will be the user who creates the campaign. The Campaign Owner can be changed to a Standard user so that he can manage the Campaign. Note: There can only be one owner of a campaign. Admin can be an owner but do not have to be. Admins will be able to manage campaigns by default.

For the existing campaign, the campaign's detail page will also show the associated tracking numbers list for the campaign. You can navigate the tracking number page by clicking on the create button for tracking numbers or by clicking on any row of the tracking number grid.
